A Workplace Wellness Campaign was launched by ��Ӱֱ�� for companies in Bahrain, at an in-person ceremony, held on Wednesday, 24 November, at the Intercontinental Hotel.

His Excellency Saleh bin Isa bin Hindi Al-Mannai, the advisor to His Majesty the King for Youth and Sports Affairs, reviewed the process of ‘wellness assessments’ with the hospital staff.

The British Ambassador to Bahrain His Excellency Roderick Drummond who also attended the event said that Bahrain’s companies will benefit from these health assessments for staff. He said he had undergone the assessment himself, and stressed on the importance of workplace wellness. “We do a lot of work at the embassy encouraging our teams to tap into the different tools available from the healthcare sector, to take charge of their own individual health”, he added.

“Launched in association with Soza Health, UK, AMH will deliver these wellness assessments which will help promote preventive health”, said Julia Tovey, the Group CEO of AMH.

“Our organisation’s greatest asset is its people. And if we can seriously maintain other assets like buildings, equipment and vehicles, shouldn’t we also ensure that our greatest asset gets appropriate opportunities to take care of their own health?”, said Tim King, the CEO of Soza Health, speaking on Zoom, from London.

“This innovative collaboration of AMH, with DHu3 Bahrain and Soza Health UK, uses health indicator inputs into algorithms based on strong medical research, to provide an immediate digital report, privately and confidentially, so that each member of the staff can pay attention to areas where it is needed”, said Paul Groom, Director of DHu3.

Also present at the event were Reema Nowrooz of GIG Takaful, Samy Aziz, Executive Director – Managing Partner, Protection Insurance Services, Muna Al Balooshi, Head of Human Resources and Administration, Al Salam Bank. They were presented with appreciation awards for their partnership, in the campaign.

Arun Govind, Project Director, AMH, gave an update on the upcoming project King Hamad ��Ӱֱ�� (KHAMH), and how it will also focus on Wellness in the Workplace.
